The 5 Step Selling Process

Step 1: Understanding

This is an opportunity for you to share a bit about yourself and your reasons for selling your home. When I understand what you want and need, I can empathize with your situation and help you achieve your goals in selling. You can also let me know what is most important to you in a real estate agent, so I can deliver the very best service possible. Your situation is unique—your plan should be too.

Step 2: Evaluate

Our second step is to do a proper market evaluation on your home. We’ll achieve this through a comparative market analysis with similar properties that have sold recently in your area. There’s a lot that goes into a market evaluation, which will all be discussed during the understanding step. Once we have decided on a value for your home, we can move to the next stage.

Step 3: Marketing

This step is where the rubber meets the road in getting your property seen. Marketing a property truly takes someone who knows what they’re doing and understands what people are looking for when searching. Because I work with buyers on a regular basis, I know how they search and what they look for. I have tailored my marketing of properties to suit just that.

I can also help with how to get your home ready for sale and what you can do to show it in its best light for your marketing. For a full breakdown on my approach and how it works, click here:

Step 4: Showings

Now that your property is ready to market the next step is to allow people to tour your home. After viewing it on the Internet, interested buyers will want to set up appointments to come and see your home in person. They will schedule appointments through me for times that suit you best.

Step 5: The Offer

When the right buyers connect with your home, they will want to submit an offer. I will help you navigate the contract and negotiations to help achieve the best possible outcome for you. Once your home is sold, I can help with lawyer recommendations and other services you might need to facilitate your move to your next adventure—whatever that may be.
